陈向东 Chen XiangDong 陈向东：1968年6月16日生于贵州苗族山寨。自小淌徉在纯朴淳厚的苗乡，在祖先文化历史长河里吮吸营养了自己，自在的傲游，渐渐地长高长大沉淀了自己，作品有着古老大苗民族之狂野，悠远，博大精深的民族内涵。并深受海内外收藏家朋友的喜爱并收藏。1993年毕业于贵州省凯里师专艺术系。1996年，作品：《民族节日》入选贵州省黔东南州十六县美术大展，并获铜奖。2002年入住上海画家村，同年作品参加上海艺术博览会。2003年于莫干山路50号艺术仓库创力《苗王艺术工作室》至今。 2004年于黔东南州“多彩贵州”民间绘画大展中作品。《窗前的维纳斯》荣获金奖。2005年于莫干山路50号艺术家联展。2006年3月于杨浦大拇指广场“马艺星春季冲动再冲动”艺术联展。2006年5月于大境堂[莫干山路50号]“文化遗产保护行动艺术家联展”。2006年6月于韩国民通线艺术节邀请展。2009年于莫干山路苗王艺术画廊举办个人画展2012年5月于贵州省丹寨县2012年度“云上丹寨幸福家园”美术书法专业大赛中荣获一等奖。2012年11月于莫干山路中日建交四十周年当代中日画家作品邀请展 2013年5月于贵州省丹寨县2013年度“云上丹寨幸福家园”艺术类比赛中荣获美术一等奖。2014年10月于香港港丽举办亚洲当代艺术展。2016年于杭州举办（第九届）杭州艺术博览会。2016年8月于在北京天开寺个展。2016年11月于杭州第19届西湖艺术博览会《艺术.天堂》2016年11月19日上海星云文教馆美术馆举办《大美禅韵-陈向东个展》RESUMEChen Xiang Dong was born in Guizhou in 1968. He graduated from Dianzhai national highschool, in the rural village of Miao, from where he draws his inspiration for nature. After establishing a successful practice he relocated to Shanghai, and is now represented in numerous collections and is a frequently commissioned painter.His themes, in oils and watercolor, span Buddhist iconography, natural forms and cultural symbols that are influenced by his interest in meditation practices.He graduated in Guizhou KaiLi normal school department of art In 1993. His Work "National festivals " as chosen by exhibition of sixteen counties of Guizhou Privince in south east Guizhou. In 1996,he won the copper award. He joined in the Shanghai painter village in 2002, the same year he participated in Shanghai art expo. He set up the "Miao wang art studio " in Mo Ganshan road 50 in 2003. He participated in the popular drawing exhibition " Colorful Guizhou "in 2004, and his work " Venus front the window" gained gold award. He participated in artist joint exhibition in Mo Ganshan 50 in 2005 .
